Monday Oct 30

We wrote our test the last day so today we started Unit 4!  This unit is all about temperature, mass and volume.  I have attached the notes here if you missed anything.  Please complete the questions for homework if you haven't already.  We also worked on a journal question as well.  Ask me for this if you missed it.  Thanks!

Today we worked on the review.  It took longer than expected so next day we are going to do a graphic organizer as a study sheet and perhaps finish the review as well.  The test will now be on Friday instead. 

Tuesday Oct 24th

Today we worked through Volume (Day 10 notes).  The notes are here if you missed anything.
Please complete the assignment tonight if you did not finish as we will move on to the review tomorrow to prepare for the test on Thursday.

Monday 23rd

Today we worked through the textbook questions for Day 8.  If you don't finish, do not worry about it as I said that the rest is not homework.  Just more surface area questions.  :)

Today we worked through the assignment for Day 7.  I only assigned the even numbers.  Please complete for homework if you didn't complete as we will have a quiz next class on this.  Have a great long weekend!

I missed Friday and Monday with you folks!  I hope you have all finished your inquiry projects that were due today.  If not please bring them tomorrow.
Today we worked through the day 6 notes and assignment.  It was a short assignment so we also worked through a journal assignment.  I will post the journal assignments tomorrow for your reference.

Today we started with a quiz and then worked through the Day 5 notes, attached here for your reference.  The assignment is to complete all the questions for that day.  We also discussed the project you will be starting on Friday.

Tuesday Oct 10

Today we talked about converting between imperial and metric units.  I attached the notes here for your reference.  The assignment is to complete odd numbers to #13.

Friday Oct 6th

Happy Friday!  I am so excited for the long weekend as I am sure you are as well.  Enjoy your three days off!
Today we worked through metric system conversions.  I attached the notes for Day 3 here in case you missed anything.  Please finish your conversions on Day 3 for homework if you didn't already do so.  I will see you all on Tuesday.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Thursday Oct 5

Today we finished the last few things on the notes for day 2.  I posted them here for your reference (scroll to the end)
We had the career department in for the last 20 minutes so our block was a little shorter so just complete all odd numbers for homework.  See you tomorrow!

Wednesday Oct 4

Today we started our new unit!  This unit is all about surface area, volume and perimeters of shapes.  I have attached the notes here for you if you missed anything.
We worked through the short assignment for Day 1 and worked on a journal entry,.  I collected all of the Unit 2 booklets and journals for marking.  If you have not handed them in, please do so tomorrow.

Today we wrote the test.  Well done!  We had a lot of people away today so please come see me to make a plan to write it.

Today we worked through day 6 - the review package.  Please finish this as homework and put your answers into D2L.  The test is tomorrow and your Unit 2 package is also due.  You are able to bring in a cheat sheet if you like!
